What challenges did our customer face?
Our client was struggling with the delivery of its new payment platform, which was suffering from critical quality issues. Due to underlying partner agreements, our client had only three months to prepare the platform to pass external conformance tests.
What did we do?
Aldemis took ownership of the delivery and applied rigorous issue prioritisation to maximise the effort and focus almost solely on the certification need. We brought in two additional development resources to help with bandwidth. The conformance tests passed successfully the first time, relieving significant pressure within the team.
Outcome
The platform passed the conformance test the first time, successfully meeting our client's business target. It relieved pressure from the senior management team and allowed them to concentrate on growing the business.
What next?
We continued to engage with the customer, focusing on tactical bug fixing to bring the software to a market-ready state and start capturing early customers. Once the platform usage started to grow, we worked with the technology team and the business to transition from a tactical approach to a quality-focused, product-led approach, establishing industry-standard product practice to ensure the system evolved based on customers' needs.
